How it all started
Sorba Projects was founded in 1977 under the name Sorba Projectbouw, a subsidiary of Sorba Industries. At first Sorba Projects started as a project agency for the engineering, delivery and assembly of perimeter heating casings for office buildings. The company grew fast and quickly offered work for 20 employees. At the end of the nineties Sorba Projectbouw (at that time changed its name to Sorba Projects) had grown so fast that it was forced to move into its own office.where their work expanded into interior cladding. From this point, Sorbas creativity and development of various types of façades in the utility and infrastructure sectors was created in both Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Currently Sorba Projects is an appreciated and respected partner in the construction industry with approximately 55 employees and offices in the United Kingdom.
Sorba Projects produces its own Alpolic panels with the availability of in-house specialized machinery which enables us to produce panels of between 2m by 4.8m. In addition to this we can carry out the assembly of the façade elements in timber and steelwork.
At the end of this year the new premises will be completed with the offices, production and assembly hall all under the same roof.
