The facades of the University of Amsterdam (UVA) are equipped with glass reinforced polyester panels with large dots in dark colours, through which depth is created.

Polyester cladding, many beautiful types

Fibreglass reinforced polyester is a strong, robust cladding with a coloured top layer (gel coating in the case of the referenced project). The material has a long life and asks little in the way of maintenance. The polyester is produced in moulds; which lends itself to many forms.
